The property was nice, great kitchen and nice tv, however would be nice to have a tv in the bedroom so kids could watch one and adults can watch one. The beds were HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Hurt our backs. dreaded going to bed each night. The plumbing in the second bath had issues. toilet moved and water dripped from sink faucet. Toilet too low in master bath. Very uncomfortable. If better mattresses and bathrooms would be back. As is, will not. Easy fixes for property owner. For almost $2000 per week they could easily afford.

Three-day rental for 5 people I did not expect hotel service but I would expect to see more essential or convenience items supplied or at least advanced notice that they are not supplied. The list is long probably because as more problems popped up, I became more observant. With the length of the list it appears that no one of responsibly is looking after the home. Observations: Kitchen: the silverware and some dishes were in the dish washer. Maybe clean, maybe not. Unacceptable. No dish washer detergent and expect me to run the dishwasher? Cabinet doors stick. Intentional? Gives appearance of sticking because they are dirty “hot” indicator light on cooktop on all the time. Not safe as it is no longer a warning. Under the sink is gross. Bottom water damaged. Caved in with large hole. Only three chairs for the eating table. At least it was stand up height for the other two people. Mr. Bedroom and bath No soap or body wash in shower. No warning there would be none. Not enough towels for 5 people for 3 days. Supplied only one bath towel and one wash cloth for each person. No blanket on bed. Only sheets and well used bed spread. Not sanitary. Light in the closet is burned out. Of the 8 lights over the sinks, 3 were burned out. Ceiling fan covered in dust. Tacks in the tack strips holding the carpet in front of the shower could be felt when stepping out of the shower. Bed room with full bed: The mattress on the bed was poor and had been covered with a foam topper in attempt to cover up the problem. Un-sleepable. My son and his wife had to move out and rent a motel. Family room Had to change the batteries in the cable remote so it would work. Have to use both the tv and cable remotes to turn on the system. TV service was at a 1980’s level. Only the major networks plus about 4 cable stations all of no entertainment value such as 2 versions of QVC. No ESPN, no Fox network news, no CNN, no HDTV, no TNT, no BET as examples. Carpet is dirty and matted. Other: Wi-Fi network name incorrectly listed in email sent for check-in. I finally found the correct one in the manual. (who reads manuals first) Double bed in third bed room should be a queen. (preference) The damage charge is not a deposit. It is a non-refundable fee. Beware of the fine print. Positives: Nice location Phone contact for help worked very well. Polite prompt response to a question. Providing good coffee pot and coffee pods. Sorry but I had to be honest.
