Located in Kawartha Lakes, this lovely cottage for $270 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Minutes to Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, this stunning, traditional red cedar post & beam construction 4-bedroom executive cottage is the perfect combination of rustic charm with modern amenities like central air & central heating, satellite TV and Wifi. The interior boasts warm pine walls, ceilings and floors, soaring vaulted ceilings with skylights, 2 living areas, 2 dining areas, a very spacious kitchen and a stone, wood-burning fireplace. Open concept living, dining and kitchen - perfect for the extended family and friends to come together in a serene setting with a gorgeous view of the lake. Deep, flat lot and shallow-entry shoreline - perfect for small children. Deeper water in the open lake. Huge new deck with lots of outdoor furniture; large propane bbq (we supply the propane), fire pit and a dock that can accommodate a boat up to 24'. A small boat & motor, suitable for fishing, is also available at a nominal charge (boater's license required). There's also a free paddle boat. Both come with life jackets. Fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, large fridge, stove, microwave oven, dishes, pots & pans, cutlery, glassware, serving utensils and all the small appliances you need to make your stay convenient...just like home. Four spacious bedrooms - the master with a king size bed and 2 with a queen and the 4th has a trundle/bunk/bunk (sleeps 3). Need extra sleeping? Use the pull-out sofa in the great room and in the summer, there's a cozy , air conditioned bunkie with a queen-size bed. (Note - Extra charge for use of bunkie.) Two modern bathrooms complete the interior. Enjoy water activities on our large lake, plus golf, country fairs, historical attractions, playgrounds for the kids, fine dining and antique shopping in the quaint little towns of Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls. In winter, enjoy a winter wonderland view, walk, cross-country ski or snowmobile over the frozen lake. Basic necessities and other extras provided at no charge. Situated on the North shore of Sturgeon Lake part of the Trent/Severn Waterway System so if you have a boat, you can cruise many lakes connected with lift locks; Fenelon Falls is nicknamed the Jewel of the Kawarthas and is a popular tourist area in the summer months. Explore all the town has to offer, shopping, dining, the falls and lift locks. Bobcaygeon is another quaint little town with similar amenities and attractions as Fenelon Falls, plus some historical attractions (Settlers' Village); Lindsay and Peterborough are nearby too. Note: Small motor boat available - small additional charge (comes with a tank of gas) Boater's License required; No charge for boat with just paddles without motor; No charge for paddle boat with life jackets; Additional charge for use of Bunkie and sheets/towels - See optional packages #1 and #2 This reservation has a Strict cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 60 days prior to check-in. My family and I stayed at Vicky’s cottage and had the most amazing time. Vicky was very accommodating and check in process was easy. Location is beautiful and we were able to witness the blue moon over the lake and have great family pic with moon in background!! We will definitely be staying here again! 5 stars! Mark

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The listing is accurate and detailed. The cottage is well appointed with everything one needs for a cottage stay and either Fenelon Falls or Bobcaygeon are just 10 minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay at this location again should we return to this area.

Vicky was a wonderful host and the cottage was better than we had hoped. It was perfect for our family getaway. 10 minutes away from both Bobcaygeon and Fenelon falls with many hidden beaches and shops in the area. We are definitely planning a return trip.

Met with 7 friends we’ve only known through Zoom…all knitters. Had a wonderful stay. Above and beyond fully equipped kitchen, BBQ. Beautiful location. There were a few burnt out lights, but we made it work. Thank you so much for opening up your place to us. Vera & The Flock Ewe Crew

Our group of 12 friends had the best labour day weekend at this cottage. There was enough room for all of us to enjoy together or apart, both indoors and outdoors. The lake was gorgeous, quiet, and super relaxing. So close to Bobcaygeon to pick up a few items we forgot to bring and, more importantly, for the Kawartha ice cream. Vicky was so welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. BONUS: Cute little ducks and chipmunks throughout the day!

Right from the start the communications with Vicky were thorough, friendly and prompt. Upon arrival we were thrilled to find the cottage exactly as pictured- large spacious great room and kitchen with comfortable seating everywhere. Love having a separate seating area for the fireplace to snuggle up and read a book on one of the many rainy days. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed making most of our meals there. The wifi is really great- I have to mention it as both my husband and I were able to work a few days there on video and never had an issue with connectivity or strength. This place feels like a real family cottage. It is cozy, comfortable, rustic and well positioned on the lake. While we were only two of us due to Covid times, we would have had more than enough room for the eight originally planned. We also appreciated that the outdoor furniture was comfortable and sturdy- sitting by the lake as the sun went down was a treat each day. Thank you to Vicky and family for sharing this awesome retreat and we hope to stay again one day. P.s you must get fish and chips from The Corner Fieh and Chips only 8km away!

This was a fabulous cottage. It is rustic, as mentioned, but still has many modern amenities. Vicky is an excellent host who is very responsive to all questions and requests. I would definitely recommend staying here.
