The location was perfect and it felt so homely

The house was very comfortable with a lovely log fire. Great place to go with the kids and grandkids. Everything you need is there. We were treated by a show put on by a Blue Wren in the front garden on arrival and just before we left. We will definitely be going back to stay.

Great location for the Hotham Stream Railway, centrally located in Dwellingup with some cafes and a corner store. House was once a family home with modern kitchen and plenty of space.

The property has plenty of potential but currently feels neglected and lacks the care that would make it a welcoming stay. It appears the owners have moved out, taking many of the original furnishings and replacing them with a mix of basic second-hand items. While functional, the home feels more like a house that has been vacated than a thoughtfully prepared holiday rental. The garden is quite overgrown, and there was safety tape around an unfinished deck, which detracted from the overall experience. With some TLC, attention to maintenance, and a few more personal touches, this could become a lovely place to stay.
