Schoon netten kamers, ontbijt was heerlijk leuke locatie

ingang voor invaliden ik heeft mij niet in verdiept of er een anderen ingang was. eenmaal binnen was alles top

Was super goed

Het hotel was super en keurig netjes .super vriendelijk personeel .we waren zeker blij met dit hotel

We hadden een kamer waar de wastafel niet in de badkamer zat .vondt dat echt een min puntje en erg vervelend .de wastafel zat bij de slaapkamer en recht voor een raam .mijn mening is dat een wastafel in de badkamer hoort .maar dat was het enige min puntje

Would definitely stay again!

The location and breakfast were Superb. The Management was very nice as well. The lady at check-in was not very talkative and did not point out recommendations, or what to see or do in Valkenburg. The Front desk staff is always the face of the company, as well as the promoter of the City and Tourism to Valkenburg, so she could have done it better by representing her City and the Management.

The noisiness of the rooms and the temperature in the room. Both are issues that the management can address. The temperature is a quick fix, and the noisiness is implementing more stricter rules for fellow Guests with quiet hours to adhere to.

Amazing hotel, super recommend!

Great Hotel, in perfect location. The stuff are so friendly and the room was clean and well facilitated. The breakfast was absolutely rich and amazing. Super recommended!

Stayed for cycling event

Nice clean hotel , good quality and range at breakfast.

Beds could be better and a bath would be nice but not essential.

It has been a very good stay for one night.

It is a perfect location, just in the centre of Valkenburg. The distance to Thermal baths is very walkable (10 minutes of a walk as a maximum). Besides, the place is clean, the staff is friendly (despite me arriving very late) and breakfast is quite delicious. In general, it has been a very good experience:)

The room for one person is very small, which is of course not very critical, but quite simple. However, at night it was terribly cold, and there was a lot of noise coming from the upper floor, meaning that isolation is very poor.

location is very good

family run business, bed quality was not good, too soft bed, breakfast was limited and so so quality. would prefer to stick a branded hotel which maintains a consistent quality

Hotel Hulsman outstanding.

Walking distance to all amenities .Staff always helpful with local information .Help yourself breakfast always re stocked .Beds very comfortable. Hotel situated in quiet link road. Would definitely go again.Hotel very clean. Hotel run by three generations. Well done Hulsman family .staff very knowledgable and clear in al various languages.

Just great

Perfect location, friendly staff, good beds, refrigerator, excellent shower, all very clean, relaxed atmosphere, tea/coffee equipment, window that can be opened

Toilet adjacent room very noicy. Only our room required an extra stairs to climb to get to, with no alternative. That was unfortunate. But we overcame.

The walls are quite thin and you can hear every guest walking by your room.

Perfect location in the quaint old town, clean and refurbished, good breakfast!

Perfect location in the quaintest part of Valkenburg. Under the ruins of the Castle and so close to wonderful little restaurants and cafes. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and it was very clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of tables. Parking was close by. We would definitely stay here again and we also like the fact that it is a family-run hotel.

No aircon in the room - but the open window and fan was sufficient for our stay. Hopefully when it's hotter, the room would still be a comfortable temperature.

Overnight stop on a bike tour.

Located in the centre of the town. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast.

Somewhat stingy with in room refreshments. I teabag and I coffee sachet per person. No staff at all after 7pm

Pleasant and centrally located hotel

- small scale family run hotel with very friendly patrons. - nice modern rooms - good breakfast - perfect location with parking nearby. ,- very close to many restaurants

- the shower entrance was a bit tight, as was the shower cubicle. - I have a problem with steps and made sure to book a hotel with a lift, but halfway down the hallway to the room there were still a few sets of 2-4 steps to negotiate. - no phone charging by the bed

Perfect spot for Christmas market trip

This hotel was great and the location is perfect. The hotel parking was easy (they'll tell you your spot in the gated lot during check-in). It was pretty empty when we were there because of covid restrictions, but we still had a great time and the hotel staff was very helpful. Tasty breakfast buffet, too. Great launching point for Christmas activities, and you couldn't tell at all that the city had been flooded earlier this year. Everything was sparkling clean and in good shape.

Environmental towels

I liked the fact that the hotel was very environmentally friendly. The hotel made it clear that owing to the environment, the towels were likely to be used and unwashed so as not to waste electricity and water. Thumbs up from me!

The toilet was reminiscent of a sewer. Breakfast could have consisted of more than a few slices of bread with spreadable meat and cheese. Shower gel would also have been nice.

Superb

A very clean and charming hotel located in the centre of Valkenburg. The photos on the website are precise. The breakfast was a real treat with plenty of choices and delicious fresh croissants and rolls.

Good hotel, with comfortable beds and a fine breakfast.

The excellent breakfast was both tasty in enjoyable. In addition the beds were very pleasant to sleep in.

There was some noise from the street below, mostly a result from the single layered glass windows upstairs.
