Mooi petit hotel op wandelafstand van het centrum. De gastvrouw zorgt voor een warm en gemoedelijk onthaal en is tijdens het hele verblijf heel aanspreekbaar, wat zeker een speciale touch geeft aan het hotel. De kamers zijn erg mooi en vooral proper, voorzien van alle comfort. Het ontbijt is fantastisch. Wij gaan zeker nog een keertje terug!

Mooie, ruime kamer, heerlijk bed, een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en een zeer vriendelijke en hartelijke gastvrouw. Ook was het fijn dat we op loopafstand van het centrum zaten.
Wij vonden de afscheiding van de badkamer (een doorschijnend gordijn) niet ideaal.

The bed was heavenly, the shower felt like a spa, and the traveling hostess was a digital sweetheart on WhatsApp.The area surrounding the villa is truly breathtaking, especially at this time of the year. The city of Valkenburg is a picturesque gem and takes a 10 minute stroll from the villa (with your back to the villa turn left and follow the road.) And a 11 minutes train ride brings you to beautiful ancient city of Maastricht (with its lovely museums 💞).
Sadly, however, for me the overall setup did not quite match the expectations my romantic heart 😂🤣 had concocted from the Booking.com advertisement. There is no cozy lobby or physical front desk to walk up to for a chat or a question and the check in and subsequent communication is done thru the internet. There is no TV in the room. There's no door between the toilet and the room, only a curtain. I could not find a communal bathroom in the building so Plan B failed 🤣😂. There is no indoor lobby or bar, making it a very quiet place to return to after a day of sightseeing. The beautiful garden and communal spaces from the photos were locked away during my stay. Lastly, I'm sensitive to smells and the synthetic ambiance perfume that pervades the h'otel was trying a little too hard. Combined with the matching complimentary spicy soaps and body lotions, I found the smell so overwhelmingly dominant that even with the windows wide open, and removing the dispenser from my room and then even removing it, together with a jumbo-size one that was standing in the corridor right outside my room, from the corridor to the stairwell, counting sheep 🐑 didn't work and it was impossible for me to sleep.
Feeling endlessly frustrated and dead tired and considering future sleep to be impossible because of the (lingering) smell, I checked out 3 days early, but I sincerely hope that you, dear reader, have a whale of a time because the potential for a 🌟✨Magical Holiday ✨🌟is definitely there!!

Hele fijne en mooie accommodatie, rustig gelegen met fijne parkeer mogelijkheid. Mooie authentieke kamer die er goed en schoon uit zag. Het bed was erg comfortabel en sanitair was goed. We hadden ontbijt erbij wat goed voorzien was. Eigenaresse was heel aardig en gastvrij. We voelde ons ontzettend welkom!
