The double bedroom (more like a studio apartment really) was very large. Both the bed and the sofa were comfortable. There was plenty of space for luggage and storing clothes. Small kitchen by the entrance door and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a lift to reach the upper floors. Although not exactly in the city centre, this is at walking distance at about 30 minutes. The central station is at about 25 minutes walking, and the tourist port at about 20 minutes walking. The area is quiet, and there is a Lidl and an off-licence shop within 10 minutes walking. It is a good cheap option for a short stay.
The building is old and so the rooms and the furniture.The floor and the wall paper had seen better days. The place would definitely benefit from a good make-up and restyling. The ensuite bathroom was really old fashion, and the smell from the toilet was quite noticeble, despite the deodorant placed in the room. Considering the price, this may not a major turn off, but I would not recommend the place if staying longer then a couple of nights. If you plan to stay longer, I would invite you to keep looking for something more enjoyable.
