Very welcoming and helpful staff. A quirky and olde world place with narrow staircases and low ceilings as you would expect in a building of that age. My room was spacious with a four poster bed but it had been set up for a wedding anniversary with a banner and petals on the bed which made me giggle as it was only my birthday. The bathroom was a little tired, but clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice on the cooked breakfast plus a small selection of cereals, pastries and yoghourt. They also catered for other dietary needs if requested. We found a couple of pubs within walking distance where we were happily welcomed by the locals.
The room was a bit hot even though there was no heating on and we had to keep all of the windows open.

We had a lovely stay our room was perfect, we had a really first class dinner at the hotel & the staff were so friendly

The Breakfast offered was Very basic - English Breakfast or Fruits and some yoghurt
I asked if they had Oats and was told no
The small bowl of Greek Yoghurt on the main table was for the whole room and when I asked this question the staff looked at me as If i was odd - I had to literally ask for more yoghurt
There was a wedding taking place at the hotel which I feel we should have been informed of as this meant the restaurant was closed for the night
The Staff were not present on the reception for most of the time we were there and No wifi code was give
The Gym/Fitness centre was a very small room with a rowing machine and a treadmill
