Amazing location, overlooking the main square in Catania. For someone who does not speak a word of Italian it was a very pleasant and memorable experience. The staff were great, always a smile on their face. The bed was extremely comfortable. You get AC in room as well if you're not enjoying the warmth.
- occasionally small ants show up on the floor but as far as I know this is common in this region. They're not a nuisance but might give you a jump scare if you're not expecting it.
- Just a note for people who don't like noise. At night there are events on the main square until 2-3 am, so it is loud, however in my opinion it just adds to the charm of the location.

Fantastic location, could not get more central.
Be warned no lift!!! On the 3rd floor, 63 steps. Once in the room lovely view overlooking Cathedral Square.

Can`t get more central than this! very easy to reach, 24/7 reception, great view onto the duomo and elefant statue.
Numerous cafes, restaurants and sights in walking distance.
Was also allowed to check in earlier and escape the heat on arrival date.
Aircon worked perfectly.
The rooms could benefit from a little update (curtains and wallpaper are quite used) and cleanliness.
There is no elevator, but I am sure people with movement limitations can ask for help or a room on the ground floor. I was informed and offered help with my luggage, so not really an issue.

Great location. Nothing to discuss about it.
The hotel is as you can call it, vintage. The top floor rooms have very tiny windows, our room had smashed tv, broken and falling apart sockets, problems with water in toilet and under the shower, causing small floods and many other small things like this. Whats more, thousand stairs to get up there.
