Excellent swimming facilities with two large pools, which the whole family really enjoyed. The evening entertainment was also very good, with something happening every evening and a nice family atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and we enjoyed our stay.
The biggest issue was the food labelling. We stayed half-board and, as a vegan, I found it difficult to know which dishes were suitable. Although allergens were displayed, food was not clearly labelled vegetarian or vegan at breakfast or dinner, so I repeatedly had to ask staff. There were also waits of around 10–15 minutes at the buffet during busy periods.
Some smaller service issues were disappointing. I requested hair conditioner but was given what appeared to be another shower gel. When I asked for tea and coffee sachets for the room, I was told I had to collect them from reception downstairs. We also arrived around 11am and were told we would be contacted if the room became available early, but we weren't contacted.
Individually these are small issues, but together they affected the overall experience.
