The hotel is really of the heart of downtown, it’s minutes walk to plaza de mayor, gran via and la Latina. Location 10/10.
No carpet in bathroom. One of the towels I got had some pink spots other than that they were super clean.

This property has a wonderful location for sure!!! Walking distance to must see places. An old building with new bathroom fixtures and basic needs provided. Little fridge and
a little balcony in our double room.
Good food in all directions. Second floor. One person with bag in the tiny (European) elevator. “Mercado San Miguel” street up 4 minutes for party local vibe!!! “Croquetas de bacalao or ham”. In every corner.
The pillows have to be changed. Plastic covers are not pleasant to sleep on.
Sign is about 6 feet at left of main entrance, which is a big old fashioned
brown vintage door.

The location is great. Central, walking distance to many major sights.
The concept of a hostel within a regular house is a bit odd. The room was quite small. The value for money is definitely not a thing here in Madrid - for the same price in many other capitals you get a much better accommodation. There are also hotels in Madrid for about the same price with better facilities.
