Is a great hotel

I traveled with a group of 7 friends who all stayed at this hotel. My room and another friend's room were significantly smaller than others (compact size) despite paying more money than others in our group. You couldn't even sit on the toilet without your knees hitting the wall in front of you. Also, it appears to have been cheaper to book directly with the hotel rather than hotels.com.

Great hotel close to the Sol metro and walking distance from some key visiting locations like the Palace and Plaza Mayor. Everything was nice. Nothing “spectacular”, but very clean, comfortable, and a great location.

Firstly, the staff was very very nice. Also, the beds were comfortable but the good stopped there. Floors were sticky in some spots. We had so much trouble connecting to the wifi (in our 20s and very tech savvy) and when we finally did get connected the speeds were absolutely horrendous in our room. Less than 1 mb/sec download speed! When we tried to call the front desk for help our room phone did not work. Shower water pressure was good but the temperature was not consistent. It would go hot and then cold and then hot again.

A nice hotel located in the center of Madrid. Walkable to most attractions. The breakfast was excellent with many varieties and choices. Though, the front staff could've been more friendly or had more of a smile. Still, it is a good hotel for the amenities it provides.

We loved everything about this property! Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful, excellent facility and right in the middle of Madrid yet sheltered from any noise or distractions. Loved the outdoor seating in the afternoon and nice breakfast!

The hotel is nice, big and well located. The air condition system in the entire hotel I think is a bit old. The room that was assigned at first had the a/c broken. Then a second room was assigned and the a/c worked properly but had a small noise.

Perfect location to walk around Madrid Centro . Room was small but comfortable. Only problem the curtains don’t stay closed and there is light coming in . Also there is a night light that is very bright. We had to put a bag in front of it to block the light .
Would be nice if they give 2 free bottles of water when you check in.
Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel .

Church bell at 7 am rang for a short time but the balcony was the best for the 2 nd floor. Very quiet room and comfortable beds

Lovely clean, safe, central. Bit noisy at night. Do not use shuttle company from airport, no show for return journey had to get taxi though paid up front. Fantastic shower and comfortable beds.

Amazing location. A little noisy at night but anywhere in the centre will be within earshot of bells. And Madrid is a town that stays up late. I would choose this hotel again without hesitation.
