Hervorragend!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genoßen. Ein sehr geräumiges, sauberes und schönes Zimmer. Das Abendessen ist ein Traum! Wir haben selten so gutes Essen gehabt. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und einmalig gut. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wonderful! As long as you have considerate neighbours...

The restaurant is brilliant and we enjoyed the farm. Clean and comfortable and brilliant location to explore the Myvatn area.

The walls are very thin and the cabin next door to ours had a very loud squeaky door that the first night's neighbours kept opening throughout the night. The second night's neighbours were a different kind of noisy...

Stupendo e tipico

Camera separata dalla sede centrale, in legno e molto accogliente e nuova . Reception altrettanto bellissima e moderna con ottimo ristorante vista mucche Siamo state benissimo

older house but very comfortable and well equipped kitchen. would suit family with young kids as they have an enclosure with animals for the kids to pet. also good if you like horse riding.

Very spacious and cozy rooms. The place were the restaurant was is very nice better than were the cabins are. Also we had a very nice dinner there with excellent view of the lake and cows.

The rooms are right next door one to each other without good sound proof. Therefore you can hear conversations of people in the next room and also hear them when they go to the bathroom. Despite the fact that the resort is in a very good place of the area, the view you have from the rooms is the parked cars outside

everything was perfect: great staff responded our questions promptly and gave advice even before we arrived, very clean and cozy room, great restaurant with cows, and is near to a lot of attractions

Quiet sleep

very quiet location, good bed, parking in front of the house. breakfast and dinner in a walkable distance. Nice and polite staff, great breakfast.

Disappointing

The wifi was really bad connection, even can't watch the video. Hotel feedback was really slow, they didn't solve anything and only say sorry after we left.

better for adults than children but overall good accommodation

location to nature baths and northern area Iceland . novelty of seeing cows being milked at breakfast. good quality breakfast but gf bread and other breads a bit too fancy ( too many nuts and seeds) for children so they wouldn’t eat it and were quickly hungry …. great choice for adults!

room was too hot even with all heating turned off.

Great property to stay at while in the Myvatn area.

Loved the location, cleanliness and staff

The room was a bit warm the first night until we figured out the thermostat. Opening the door worked for a while, but we couldn’t figure out how to open the windows. Lol.

A lovely place in a beautiful landscape.

The hotel room was very nice.

The dinner is unfortunately not really made for vegetarians. While we imagine that meat eaters will love the food, there is only one fish and one completely vegetarian option. Both were good, but it is a limited option. Breakfast was great though.

Clean and comfortable for a good price in a convenient location

Unique property with cozy comfortable rooms and a decent restaurant. Cow shed next to the restaurant which has a window into the shed an windows to view the pastures. Place was immaculately clean

Bathroom a bit small but adequate. Sunset created uncomfortable heat ang glare around the dinner hour.

The rooms are actually wooden cabins locating in woods. The room is spacious without a TV, which is not a problem for me. The breakfast is amazing and fabulous. There is also a bullpen near the reception building so kids can feed cows.

The rooms are a little far from the reception and restaurant, so driving is necessary to go to the reception and eat breakfast. The lodging fee is higher than average. There should be some tourist information booklets in the rooms.

Room was clean, cute & comfy. Just a little tight for 3 women. It included breakfast, but we had to leave before it was offered to make whale watching tour in Husavik. Value was not the best compared to our other stays a long the ring road.

Very unique and interesting place with great views and food.

Excellent restaurant. Beautiful lobby. Cows are cute. Nice views. Rooms are cute.

Rooms were very hot (with the only option to cool them down being opening a window). Could not turn off the light outside our room… which would be fine except we had to leave the window open to cool the room down. Very expensive.

Beautiful location, being on a farm. The guest houses were so quaint (love the wooden interiors), beds comfy, shower was very nice. The breakfast room had a gorgeous view and the selection of foods was fantastic! We also did dinner one night there, and the food (and desserts!) were very nice.

The walls were thin and we could hear the neighbors most of the evening/night. They were just talking and walking around, but you could hear everything. Of all the places we've stayed, this was by far the most expensive, even though they were of equal quality.

Best choice in area

we had rooms 22 and 23 and they were so comfortable. Beds were comfortable, nice amenities and really liked having the shower with sink and another room for toilet and sink. The setting is perfect and loved convenience for sights around Myvatn. if you stay here, you are guaranteed a reservation at the excellent restaurant which was helpful as so busy. Enjoyed eating watching the cows and the view of the lake.

Comfortable Rustic Accommodations in Myvatn

This was a return visit for us to Vogafjos. The accommodations are on the other side of the road from the dining room and milking areas, about a 3 minute walk. The room is spacious with a suitable desk/sitting area. It feels both rustic and updated (which is a nice feel.) Myvatn is small and Vogafjos is central, providing a great base to explore the area. The working cow farm/milking area visibile/tourable from the dining area is unique.

The breakfast, previously outstanding, had become more generic with the elimination of smoked fish from the cuisine. If you didn't know, it wouldn't matter, but it was our experience with breakfast that brought us back.

Overpriced basic accommodation with occasionally unpleasant staff

The restaurant is nice - food is delicious and made of ingredients produced on the farm itself or in the surrounding area. Lake Myvatn area is stunning - so no need to spend a lot of time indoors

This place is clearly overpriced at 300+ Euro/ night. For that price you're getting a tiny terraced wooden cabin without a TV, a temperamental shower and something called a patio which in reality turns to be a small table with 2 chairs right in front of the house overlooking the parking lot. Soundproofing is pretty much non existent, as you can clearly hear your neighbours and cars coming and leaving the parking lot. It's also a hit and miss with the staff. Some are nice. But we had a guy at the restaurant who tried to squeeze 3 of us to a table for 2, though another table for 4 was clearly vacant. Coffee they serve at breakfast is undrinkable. Then on the morning of departure when I asked if any coffee was available from a decent machine at the reception - for a fee or otherwise, I got a response along the lines "there are no waiters here and by the way the machine doesn't work". Classic...
