Fantastic hotel to stay in! The room and bathroom I had were both perfect. The bed was comfortable. I was a solo traveller and felt very comfortable and safe here. Enjoyed exiting the hotel to take the few steps to their pub which is large and pleasant with two pool tables and a dart board. Also live music on the Saturday night. The pub is where the breakfast is in the mornings and I had a full English which was very tasty! As part of purchasing a cooked breakfast you get unlimited access to the continental options which was great. Also because the pub is a separate building to the hotel then it is very quiet and peaceful at night. It’s also located easily close to the train station and has a pretty huge car park. The wifi was fast and reliable. I will happily be back :)

Locaton was good, close to the station and very convenient.
Quite a run down hotel, no cold water from the tap was abysmal. Bad smell throughout the lobby, very basic room, no bottles water, uncomfortable pillows. Similar complaints to over reviews, same running theme that the hotel has seen better days.
