We did not have breakfast a bit costly. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. Evening meal was ok. Breakfast was lovely. Clean white bedding. Lots of free parking (mind the pot holes on entry). Plenty of disabled parking. Easy access to the city centre and retail parks. Gluten free menu available.
I booked a twin room with two beds (as per the pictures online) for one night. I made contact with the hotel after booking this to request an accessible room due to my mothers mobility issues. I was advised an accessible room would be provided on the 3rd floor as lifts are available. On arrival the hotel could not find my booking details but as I booked via Booking.com I had proof of the booking. We were given keys for a room on the 2nd floor that turned out to be a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed (my experience is that sofa beds are usually for children/teenagers - I did not wish to sleep on a sofa bed, hence the twin room booking). I took this up with reception who gladly changed my room to a twin room with two beds on the 3rd floor but it was not an accessible room. I was informed that the accessible room that was originally booked had plumbing issues, Mmm. All this should have been explained on arrival at check in and we should not have found out when we got to the room on the 2nd floor. I had to move my mother and all the bags again to another floor. Nethertheless, an accessible room with twin beds should have been provided as per my booking and enquiry. Wasn't even offered a free breakfast as an apology.
For me, the beds were too soft (personal preference I know). No aircon and it was particular hot in the day and evening, but noisy fans were provided. The rooms weren't very clean, particularly the bathroom.
