We stayed at Il Falconiere Relais & Spa as a family of five, two parents and our three sons, for five wonderful days, and the experience exceeded all our expectations.
The property is simply breathtaking. Every corner is beautifully designed, meticulously maintained, and aesthetically perfect. It is immediately apparent how much thought, care, and attention to detail have gone into both the architecture and the surroundings.
This is Tuscany exactly as you imagine it from books and films: peaceful and serene, surrounded by endless greenery beneath beautiful blue skies. From time to time, the sound of the nearby church bells drifts through the air, while the picturesque town of Cortona crowns the landscape and creates an almost magical setting.
The spa is wonderfully indulgent, and the breakfast is outstanding: varied, fresh, delicious, and served in the elegant setting of the Michelin-starred restaurant. Even the chickens wandering freely around the property somehow add to its unique and authentic Tuscan charm.
The staff deserve special mention. They are exceptional: warm, professional, courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their positive attitude and excellent service made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.
And, of course, do not miss the Michelin-starred restaurant. The Michelin star is absolutely well deserved. The food, atmosphere, service, and setting combine to create a truly memorable dining experience. We also highly recommend trying the restaurant's local wine, which perfectly complements the cuisine and the Tuscan atmosphere.
During our stay, we used Il Falconiere as the perfect base for exploring the surrounding region, taking daily trips to Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Pienza, and many other beautiful places throughout Tuscany. Returning to the peaceful elegance of the property each evening was always a pleasure.

The pool area was good and the setting with views
Breakfast buffet could be better for a 5 star hotel, we didnt get chance to try the hotel restaurant as they had a wedding on.

Amazing new large pool outside with panoramic view towards Tuscany highlands.
SPA needs to be upgraded, especially hot sauna.
Felt insecure when was required to write my credit card details on a piece of paper for 200 eur deposit
