The rooms were clean and comfortable, larger than expected, and had plenty of space to dry bathing suits and wet clothes. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast with wonderful views. We were happy to use the pool shower after checking out on our last day, which allowed us to go to the beach before our flight home.

The manager tried to fob us off with a room overlooking the car park when we’d booked one with a sea view. When we said we weren’t happy we were moved to a very spacious room with a decent sea view in the distance (a ten-minute walk away).
Almost everything. We were amazed by the good reviews. If you don’t mind characterless, brutalist architecture that suggests the hotel has been converted from blocks of 1970s flats, you’ll like it. The pool area has as much charm as a car park, with sunbeds in rows and no flowers, while a greasy green stain just above the water mark is hardly conducive to a relaxing swim. Breakfast pastries are the same every day and eggs, bacon and coffee are all cold as they turn the switch off to save money. When we politely mentioned this, the manager said I should switch it on myself and, remarkably rudely, said nobody else had mentioned this - yet I now see that other reviewers have had the same experience. We couldn’t wait to leave and found somewhere far better for half the price. You can do far, far better for the money they charge.
