Huvafen Fushi Maldives

Amazing snorkeling & lovely staff. We were lucky enough to spot sea turtles during our stay! Our Thakuru Mohamed Ziraaru took great care of us right from the day we checked in. Even on rainy days when buggy transfers were very busy, Ziraaru arranged all our activities on time. The housekeeping team came twice a day, morning and evening. They kept refilling our water and restocking all the supplies we needed. The food and beverage team was lovely as well. Mr. Ameel, the manager at Celsius Restaurant, always greeted us warmly. Miss Pujia from Nepal, Miss Claire from China and Mr. Jinaan worked hard every day to give us fantastic dining service.

The bedding in the overwater bungalow tends to feel damp on rainy days. It would be ideal if the hotel could find a solution to this problem.

Everything, the butler (yash), the food was amazing, everything was CLEAN, the service was beyond perfect everyone was kind, such a romantic island for couples, and most importantly they really took good care of me since Im pregnant.

The ultimate vacation destination - everything about the resort screams luxury. The scenes were spectacular and service was top notch. My husband and I had a wonderful early birthday celebration at Huvafen. Every meal we had was world class, the chefs truly are masters of their craft. The underwater spa was the highlight of our trip so I highly recommend booking this in advance! Thank you Ismail the property manager for extending a warm welcome and allowing us some extra time to spend before checking out. Shout out to Shamil, Jinan, Wint and Kumar for the wholesome hospitality. Lastly we’d like to thank our Thakuru, Saif for taking special care of us and attending to our every need! Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect!

Absolutely nothing

Nice accommodation, newly renovated and very good beach areas. Good food.

After more than a month of honeymoon and many accommodations visited, we can say, that this was the worst in some details for its category. The room included filtered drinking water and milk, coffee and tea. After the first night we used up the first brick of milk for coffee and it was not replaced. The second day we used the second one. We said we needed more and were told that the hotel was out of stock, they could bring us a glass but it was a charge. how can this happen in a hotel where you pay over $2000 a night? I received several emails asking me about my arrival time, when this had already been arranged with our previous accommodation in the Maldives. It is a large hotel compared to others of similar price, 46 villas in total, which makes it not feel too exclusive. At meals the dining room is often full and even if you have booked, you may have to wait. The first and last overwater bungalows, both ocean and lagoon, are very exposed to passing buggies. In particular, in the latter you can be seen by both guests going to the pavilions and staff while you are in your villa, so privacy is minimal. You also hear buggies every five minutes. Most of the beach villas are in the water sports area and the main jetty. They also had no honeymoon detail, which we had had at all our previous accommodations, including the previous one in the Maldives.
