No african food, but then we were the only Africans i noticed.

The house reef was incredible, the best we have ever seen. So much marine life and well instructed go and no go zones. Staff were lovely, and so friendly, all of the time. Gardens and island were kept pristine. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and tidy. Daily room service was great. Arrival speedboat was easy to use and offered cooling towels which was a nice touch.

Other than snorkel (which is stunning) there’s nothing to do. Very limited excursions, 2 if I recall correctly. Excursions are $773USD per person where the same is $100USD on other islands. No outside excursions permitted so you can’t leave to go do something. All inclusive, at that price point, didn’t translate to our expectations and past experience. Manager kindly assured if we had asked during our stay then maybe extras could have been given. Bottom shelf liquor only included at bar and restaurant, everything else for a fee; the adults only pool bar was a mini fridge with sprite, coke, and viet beer (as same as room mini bar) not a serviced bar. Cocktails were very ordinary. Ad said three restaurants but caveat is that you can’t dine at leisure, you dine at buffet for each meal and are given one complimentary meal at one of the other two restaurants only. Extras on menu were for a fee. The two restaurants were pre-booked completely before we even got to island but staff squeezed us into one. Food seemed same as buffet. Buffet food had a pretty good variety but at least half of the food tasted very processed or seemed to use leftovers reused from meal before. Our room was cleaned well during our stay but on arrival there was a half eaten chocolate bar in fridge, and dirty glassware around our pool. Snorkel gear was very ratty.
