It's definitely a party hostel. From 7pm to 11pm there's LOUD music playing as a warm-up for any parties the hostel people might be heading to in the city. It's impeccable how everyday there are activities to do so it's pretty easy to connect with new people. I'm a solo traveler and this was one of the few trips I haven't been alone for not even 5 minutes because there was always some company. The cleaning ladies are so lovely and kind too, they always keep the hostel super clean and fresh. The beds are SUPER comfortable. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday but it's enough to keep you full until lunch time.
Also, hostel is located in a key part of the city, very accessible to public transportation, but you gotta be careful around.
I think the hostel lacks the basic: curtains for the bed, a little shelf to support your phone while it's charging (also the USB entrances of my bed were super noisy, probably having electrical issues).
Except for the guy who takes the late night shift and is always wearing a cap, who was always super kind and sympathetic, the staff lacks good manners. I'm not talking about volunteers, because all of them were wonderful people and the hostel seems to know how to pick its volunteers but the actual staff need a wake up call.

Staff here were friendly. Sketchy part of town- felt super unsafe in the area as lots of homelessness. Very very young crowd- party atmosphere. Very good breakfast served.
No working air con in the room- heat at night made it unbearable to sleep. A very lively and young hostel. Be prepared for coming in at 2/3am and crashing around in dorms.

People volunteering/ working as well as ladies making breakfast are absolutely the nicest , hostel is really social, a lot of activities are organised throughout the day, it’s a great place to get to know people especially solo travellers, also breakfast is amazing for the hostel standards
The hostel is very dirty. There is visible mould in several areas, and someone in another room had bedbugs during my stay. The mixed bathrooms smell awful, at times like someone has just vomited.
