Love Nicks. We have stayed a few times. Location is great. Staff are lovely. Food at the restaurant is fantastic. We had an upstairs superior room that had been recently renovated. Bathroom looked brand new.
We loved our upstairs room but the stairs were a killer. Will ask for downstairs next time.

We have stayed at Nick's Pension three times and it is our go to for staying in Ubud. Rooms and gardens are great. Staff helpful and friendly.
Restaurant is not so great but there are some lovely places to eat close by. Bathrooms need some TLC and in our room the toilet seat was loose. I tried fixing it but the threads are warn and it needs replacing. Lining to bathroom door requires re- newing. Small annoyances but would stay again.
