The location of this apartment is everything people say. You are basically dead center in the middle of the old town section of Split, with a large historic balcony overlooking the main square. The rest of the apartment is comfortable, clean, attractive, and with the help of the owner's instructions, finding it and access was easy. But the balcony and location is obviously the star attraction, and everything that is promised.
We had no complaints. Everything was as expected.

The location was decent, abut a 20 minute walk from the Villa of Diocletian. The outside of the building, like most buildings in the area, was covered with graffiti. This appears to be a major issue in the City as a whole.
The space was fine, accessed by a rather dingy hallway and rather dorm-like inside. There was a pleasant outdoor space but we couldn't leave the door open as the screen was broken and there was construction nearby. Cleanliness was fine in most of the apartment but the bathroom shower had quite a bit of black mould around the toiletries rack. This triggered my allergies so I wasn't impressed. Also, we couldn't get the TV system to work, possibly as there was no back on the remote and the batteries kept getting loose.
10:00am checkout time was also a bit of a shock but we had to ask to find out the time. If you stay here I would recommend walking or Uber, taxis seem to have a hard time finding it so a 5 Euro Uber also became a 25 Euro taxi ride (once).
Cleanliness in the bathroom and the graffiti. The graffiti is, of course, beyond the control of the Owner.
