Very comfortable, with friendly and efficient staff, a nice room, and a good hot shower. Dinner was good, and breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choice for the continental, and a very tasty and well-cooked hot breakfast. And what a peaceful location! We had a lovely short walk around the village.
There's nothing we didn't like. Other reviews mention that the hotel shows a little wear and tear, and that staff are not always present, and that's all true, but it was outweighed by all the positives.

Good standard of breakfast. Clean and comfortable room
Having to pay extra for cooked breakfast and pressure to pay night before
Paper thin walls. I could hear every word said by guests in neighbouring room
