If you choose oldtown, this hotel is a good option

Good location, we stayed in triple room, room was big facing to the road, a bit noisy but worth it. coffee tea and water available for free at the lobby whole day. breakfast included, (boiled egg jam butter sausage some local snack) . We extend our date , but because they didn’t have triple room any more gave us 2 double room with the same price , room was cozy and quiet

staff communication barrier due to lack of English skill, rooms don’t have refrigerator but they allowed we use fridge downstairs

Good value for money.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Good area for night market and exploring the old city. Good value for money.

The bed was very uncomfortable, too hard.

Great value for money and location.

A lovely guesthouse, very authentic and right in the heart of the old town. Street is quiet, not even noisy on the night of the near by weekend market. Rooms are a good size with nice big comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Air con works effectively. Breakfast is a bit basic but enough to get you going! Water and hot drinks are available all day. Great value for money, would stay again.

Better breakfast perhaps, more selection. The taxi man that affiliated with the hotel....do not use him! He is not a good driver and his car is falling to pieces. His air con is opening the windows! Someone please tell him that its time to retire!

Giant Towels

Great location right in the middle of Old Town, it's close to the piers for trips to the islands and the island tours We were in the twin room and each bed had a giant towel as a blanket, was only wishing I could have seen the size of the towel for the double room

Not really a con, but the bed was quite hard compared to other places but still fine if your just there to lay down the head for the night

Not suitable for sleep

The staff were very kind and lovely. The location is inside the town market (for better and for worse)

The bed was hard as a rock and the blankets were just (stained) towels. The ac makes a lot of noice at night and in the morning you can hear everything so I had no conditions at all that were allowing me to simply sleep. Which is the only thing to do in this place

The hosts were really lovely and helpful. The breakfast was really good, we loved the banana muffins. Very clean and spacious rooms. Perfect location.

Traditional-style clean hotel

The hotel is in a central location in old town Phuket. It was very clean with comfortable bedrooms. I loved the vibe and the traditional style. The breakfast was basic but good with with savoury and sweet options (on my last day there was thai sticky rice with mango and it was super yummy). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

One of the staff at the reception could not speak English and therefore the communication was a bit challenging at times. However, he was really nice and willing to help.

The room was super clean, huge double bed, AC, good WiFi.. the staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was also excellent to explore the old town. We loved our stay! I'd certainly stay again :)

The regular pillow was too big for me, but I used the tiny one and it was fine (I also didn't ask if they have other ones).

This place was such value for money, very welcoming n helpful hosts, great location, very clean rooms and yummy complimentary breakfast. There was morning market just accross the street...liked street food there n naka night market too was great

Best Local Hotel in Phuket

Ming Shou is one of the best local hotels I've ever met. I like its location and the price for staying here. It is very worth to stay here because you can ask whatever you want the staffs to help. This place is very close to the Sunday market and old Phuket city, too.

The staff was polite though only one person at the reception

One one staff is available in the reception and breakfast is good but only bread and jam and full boiled eggs. No changing of linen provided even though we stayed for 2 days

very kind and accommodating owners. it didn't work for us to stay do to the bed being too hard, but they have us a refund and were understanding

Manager was very helpful, the location was very central, breakfast provided.
