The staff were outstanding. Always helpful at any time of day or night. Loved having a Nespresso machine in my room. The shower was great, the room was quirky, the provided soaps and shower cosmetics were by an excellent brand. Little touches like the mouthwashes and Dyson hairdryer were appreciated.
My room temperature was too high -- the AC placement doesn't cool the room properly. Staff promptly gave me a fan in the room. I would've liked a lamp too -- my only lighting option was extremely bright overhead lights so nighttime could've been a bit nicer with one. Soundproofing wasn't great and my room was right outside the storage area -- staff shouldn't be banging about at 8.30am outside my room.

I stayed here a few times during my trip to Taipei. Given how busy Ximending is, the hotel was quiet - I didn’t hear any street noise. It was very clean, staff were helpful and all the amenities were good - nice showers, fridge, kettle, hairdryer etc.
There was nowhere to put away any clothes apart from a few hangers and not enough floor space to leave a suitcase open so unpacking was tricky.
Although the garden view rooms are nice and - particularly at the 409 end of the corridor - the view is light and green - the windows are in the bathroom and so you don’t have the view from the bed / chair.
