The barn was in the large rear garden of the owners house, the door was left unlocked ready for our arrival at 16:00 hours. The owner was very friendly and helpfull.
The location borders onto National trust Barrington Court it is in a small village with a pub within shorrt walking distance.
The barn is comfortably furnished, the main bed area overlooks the louge on an open mezanine floor.
The barn has it's own boiler whichj services the central heating and gives copiuos amounts of hot water.
The barn is typical of most timber buildings it is rustic, well insulated and is pleasing to look at and comfortable to live in.
The kitchen is sufficiently equiped for preparing meals and there is also a washing machine.
Overall we enjoyed staying in Barrington Barns and because of it's location will most probably look to book it again.

Excellent location. Beautiful garden.
The garden furniture was uncomfortable.
We had to clean the oven before we could use it but this was probably an oversight.

Very pretty building and in the beautiful garden of the owner.
As we stayed during very hot weather, we found the barn very overheated inside. We understand that it would’ve been hot wherever we stayed but it could’ve been made easier if there was a suitable electric fan to use. (A fan was listed as included at the property but unfortunately there wasn’t one) With the bedroom being on a mezzanine level it was far too hot at night to sleep in there. The owner was away during our stay so we were unable to ask for a fan.
Had we stayed during cooler weather I’m sure we would’ve loved the coziness of the barn.
