Great location, all rooms on the Fuji side

The staff were absolutely amazing! We were upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived which was so nice, and they gave us waters and treats when we would arrive or leave the hotel. They also left us with some photos of Mt Fuji when we checked out. They made the stay so wonderful. Everything was very clean in the room and onsen space.
The beds were not the most comfortable, but we were expecting that when sleeping on a futon.

We had an exceptional experience at Taiheikan! The staff was amazingly welcoming, helpful, and attentive, giving the whole place a warm and family-like atmosphere. The rooms have a lovely traditional Japanese style, which added so much authentic charm to our stay. On top of that, they kindly upgraded us to a room with a direct, clear view of Mount Fuji, making our trip truly magical. My partner and I had a wonderful time here. It is absolutely worth every penny—highly recommended!
