The location was excellent, given that I was traveling by bus: stops very close by. No road noise in my room. It was easy to walk into the town center, 10-15 minutes. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating on leaving my luggage after I’d checked out, making suggestions (and in one case, a substitution) on the meals—my first experience with Nepali food, which was delicious.
Not the fault of the management, but had disturbed sleep my second night, due to noise from an “active” and noisy couple: I couldn’t find their room to bang on the door…

Old world charm. The Indian restaurant onsite delicious food
The old world charm included creeky tight stairs and doors that don’t quite fit.

The location and appearance of the old buildings Breakfast was worth the money in what we paid
The mattress needs to be renewed as we had uncomfortable sleep with springs sticking into our back .and that’s after turning the mattress around as it didn’t feel as worn down the bottom of the bed
