Wyndham Quito Airport

Carolina on reception was wonderful. I stayed at the hotel on September 2nd and both Carolina’s warm welcome and the quiet night I had were the reasons I returned. I had an issue with a bird on a ledge outside my window and Carolina kindly moved me to another room. Overall, the staff were so pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Staying at Wyndham was the best decision we made on arriving and leaving Ecuador. On both nights, the service from the staff, the shuttle drivers and everyone at the hotel was exceptional! The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely view of the city lights from the town near the airport. Very quiet for an airport hotel-we didn't hear anything on both nights we stayed there. The airport is just next to the hotel, but walking to/from it, esp.with luggage might be inconvenient, so use the free shuttle they have running every 30 min, 24/7. It takes just 3 min from the hotel to departures/arrivals with the shuttle. Quito airport is small, so it's easy to locate the Wyndham shuttle stop-it's just outside the arrivals hall, and there is a sign saying 'Wyndham'. The night before we left Ecuador, we had dinner a la carte-well served, pretty presentation and very delicious. Very decent price for an airport hotel as well. We had an early flight the morning after, but the hotel offered sandwiches, fruits and coffee from 3 am on. Exactly what we needed at 3.30 am...Really, I can't praise the hotel enough. It surpassed all my expectations and made my entry and exit from Ecuador feel classy, calm, sorted.

It was convenient to the airport

The showerhead was spraying all over the place. The TV was hung crooked on the wall and had permanent red lines going through the screen. The smoke detector light flashed all night.
