The staff is very nice & accommodating. Love that breakfast was served at the time we wanted. They helped booked us activities & transportation. Wasn’t too bad of a walk into town.
If you need absolute quiet & don’t want to experience the sounds of Livingstone maybe it’s not for you.

- the plants are very pretty, as if you were staying in a botanical garden,
- it is visible the French owner does his best to invest in technology - solar panels mitigate electricity outages.
- the hotel is situated downhill, between the church and the mosque, which compete for attention with singing,
- it has no night silence policy,
- their staff does NOTHING. I'd fire half of them and make the other half work. The entire day they wander around, occupy guests space, clean only the main way leaving all the corners with leaves, all the doors greasy, all the pots in the common kitchen dirty, doing nothing, laying on guests outdoor armchairs, playing on their phones! The worst being a blonde woman, who not only shouts for hours on her phone during private conversations but also caters to her private guests (how are these people permitted to enter??), who shout with her, while visiting. We, guests, pay hard-earned money to feel like intruders in this circus, full of incompetent staff, stealing our holiday space.
Terrible experience, full of stress and waiting when they'll finally go away.
Staff have houses, they should behave like this in their own houses, not when on duty.
What it should look like:
2-3 staff on duty attends to guests' needs, and steps away when they are not needed; cleans properly, moves with purpose.
