Amazing apartment with a seeview

The apartment was very clean, equiped and furnished very well. The atmosphere felt like a home if you know what I mean. It was not „cold” and „anonymous”with only necesery equipment. There were very nice element of decoration and small details that made your stay comfortable and better. In the kitchen there is all you need. The terrace with an amazing seeview is the centre of daily life. There was no AC but it was not necesary at alll. Opened windows and a little wind did their jobs. The water and a bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice gift for us. There were no problem with finding a place to park a car in the street. Just on the other side of the street there was a tiny restaurant. I recommend this apartment and if we decide to return to Madeira we will choose it again

We'll be back to Madiera for Certain

The location was great. It was a bit far from downtown Funchal but the main city bus stop was very close. The view was incredible. The hosts thought of a lot of things to make our stay great (e.g., a book to provide information, a wifi poster, etc.) In fact, every time we needed something, it was there. They also met us at 2 a.m. (our flight came in at 1 a.m.) to give us the keys. All in all, really a nice stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone.

The awning on the patio was broken and couldn't be used. Drip coffee maker was broken but Nespresso machine worked great. Also, the toilet seats in both bathrooms were missing fasteners causing them to move. They were in need of repair or replacement. The shower curtain rods were in need of more tension. There is a learning curve for using the water heater. It's too small for two showers, washing machine and dishwasher. This was all explained in the book.

Vrry cozy Apartment in top location

- prime location, just 2nd line ocean front, but still overlooking the ocean from the rooms and the terrace - we also loved the cozy enterior and decoration, which made the apartment a real home, and not just an accomodation - kitchen equipment with everything needed - overall we would book again - Thank you for welcoming us regardless of late arrival around midnight. Much appreciated.

- mattresses were rather on the hard side, but not a problem yet - car parking was a problem when arriving after 18:00 pm. The underground garage was advertised as suitable for "small cars only", but we were told our Renault Clio wouldn't be small enough?! Street parking wasn't a pleasure, as it sometimes took up to half an hour milling around the block to find space. I wished I would habe known that before. - We couldn't get the Sat TV startet despite trying every combination with the three remote controls. The was no manual or description at the Apt.

Uns haben vor allem die tolle Lage, der schöne Ausblick vom Balkon und die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft gefallen. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Die Einrichtung und insbesondere die Betten sind teilweise schon etwas älter und wirken nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss. Ansonsten war alles sehr angenehm.

Beide bedden zijn te hard zonder topper en de bank in de woonkamer is te klein om relaxt tv te kijken met 2 personen.
