Friendly staff. Always trying to do the best for you, Location. 5 minutes driving from city centre and Vanilla Beach. Facilites. Restaurant in front of the beach.

Buko Beach was so tranquil and rejuvenating. From the quiet comfort of our bungalow to the attention to detail from the staff, and refreshing pool just off the beach with perfect views of the bay, we felt pampered.

Staff were excellent - extremely helpful, kind and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was nice. Nice sea view. Good location.
While the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, we ultimately found the experience wasn’t quite what we were expecting and decided to leave three days early - primarily due to bugs and bites. Unfortunately, we were not refunded for the unused nights.
The hotel leans heavily into an eco-focused, nature-immersed concept—which may appeal to certain types of travellers looking for a more rustic, outdoorsy experience. For example, the bathroom is located outdoors. While this isn’t inherently negative, we hadn’t expected to be attacked by so many bugs and had anticipated a more conventional luxury resort at this price point.
The pool area was also quite small with limited lounging space, and there weren’t many alternative facilities/activities available on-site.
