Helen, our host was the star of the show! A comfortable bed with a fluffy doona, and a breakfast that kept you going all day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ravencar B&B. Helen made us feel very welcome and prepared a fantastic breakfast, I had freshly prepared porridge with blueberries and a full English one morning and Helen’s special granola/yogurt/honey and fruit bowl the next, both of which were really good. Other guests at breakfast opted for the scrambled egg and salmon, which also looked very good. I chose Ravencar for easy access into Sheffield and Ponds Forge swimming pool which was about 25 minutes away.
The only thing I can think of is the milk jug had a funny shaped spout so milk did not pour well if the jug was too full. Although my wife would probably say it was user error.

Excellent quality breakfast and very friendly host. Dog friendly. Country river walks right from the property.
With permission of host we were able to leave car on premises while going for a 2 hour walk in the morning.
Shower could benefit from slightly wider spray and middle shelf on bathroom unit needs tightening to stop shelf from tilting causing things to slide off.

Everything was awesome! Helen was super nice and attentive and really made me and my doggie feel at home. The breakfast was awesome as well.
We did not drive but there are a few bus stops under 5 minutes of walk away so it was quite handy for people travelling without a car.
We would def love to come back when visiting peak district again :)
