Fabulous place to stay with a great feel to it, loads of fun stuff in the bar, good prices and a brilliant range of food available, as well as excellent breakfasts.

Didn't have breakfast although it looked nice, beds were comfy and clean.
Had no coffee or tea or milk in the room, so couldn't have a coffee but did have one in the cafe. shower head slid down when showering. Light near mirror wasn't working only little niggles, overall was a good stay and will come back

Wasn't expecting much for the price, but wow. A 1 bed apartment for £43. Stayed in much oricwr hotels that are not even half as good. Got a nice warm welcome on checking form a lovely fella.
Coukd have done with a tea and coffee making provisions, but thst was sweetened by a free cup of coffee at breakfast. Breakfast in the cafe was only 6 quid, again like the room more than value for money.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my stay. The room is located above a pub, and the music from downstairs could be heard in the room.
I also didn’t feel comfortable having to enter the accommodation through the pub, particularly as there were people drinking and socialising in the area. There was also a very large dog in the middle of the walkway on the way to the stairs, which made accessing the room feel uncomfortable.
The room itself may be suitable for someone who doesn’t mind pub noise or the pub-style entrance, but this was not what I expected and I would have preferred a quieter and more private entrance.
