The location was perfect for our purposes. The apartment was comfortable and for the most part smoothly functional. The area felt safe and secure and while there was a lot of construction going on the contractors seemed to really take care not to be a disturbing element.
There were a couple of drawbacks - aren't there always. Two of them were a bit of a bother. One was the shower in the main bathroom. It's simply not designed correctly and is of limited use for grown-ups, while OK for kids. Luckily the second bathroom shower is excellent. The other issue is a bit funny. Someone has decided to install an oversized fridge in the kitchen and it stops a few drawers, including the cutlery drawer, from opening more than half way. A bit irksome, but at the same time good for a laugh also.

The location was perfect for our guests and the apartment is in a lovely setting
The hidden costs. The website shows the what is normally on bookingcom, the final price,. However in very small print are huge additional mandatory expenses (50% more than the published price)
The apartment did not provide any extras e.g. soap/shower gel/shampoo, which were needed for such a short stay. So we had to buy full size bottles of everything. No welcome pack except a bottle of water.
Every instruction and the TV were only in Dutch
