The access to the reef is amazing. Lots of wildlife. Food and service was excellent
Some of the gear for snorkelling damaged and not effective enough, better to bring your own snorkelling mask and fins for example

Prachtig gesitueerd tussen de koraalriffen. Heerlijk rustig. Mooi aangekleed. Erg goede kamers (beachfront bungalows).

We loved this beautiful boutique hotel on a tiny island built over a tropical reef. We stayed in a bamboo cottage on the beach with an outdoor bathroom from your dreams. They picked us up by boat from the mainland and we were away from the touristy town. Everything was well kept and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious and they even made us a boxed lunch to take on our one day national park tour. The hotel took us out on their private speed boat with a captain, mate and guide for a full day adventure including meeting Komodo dragons, swimming on a pink beach, hiking up to the top of Padar island and the best snorkeling we have ever witnessed. Best day of a two week trip. I wish we had stayed a few more days.
We liked everything here.

Clean beach with clear sea water. Good place for snorkeling.
Enjoy the view of sunset and sunrise at the pier of this hotel.
An ideal place for a short hide away from city buzzing.

We stayed 2 nights in Seraya early June 2023. Booked the Seaview Canopy room. It was 2 Adults and 1 Teen. 😁
We were completely blown away by the resort when we arrived. It was tranquil, idyllic and peaceful.
Room was spacious, and most importantly CLEAN! Restroom was very clean, and being partially open air, you’d catch a number of colourful butterflies, moths even and the occasional gecko!
Bed was super comfy, and housekeeping did a great job with the linen and we literally “faxed” ourselves into the duvae. 😆 There was NO muskiness from the pillows or extra bed. Air conditioning works really well and it kept us all cool during the night and day.
Big thanks to Eddie, Taufik, Adrian and Gonzo for their fabulous service, knowledge of information, and dedication to giving their best to us.
We had an out-of-world experience with Taufik when he brought us to Hatamin Island. He was outgoing, friendly and super accommodating. He brought us to where the baby sharks would hang out and we managed to see quite a few! It was simply amazing! Best moment of our trip in Seraya!
Shout out to Gonzo as well for helping us with our transfer back to mainland and airport.
Food variety was limited but oh-so-DELICIOUS! The fish was wonderfully fresh and cooked well!
Wish we had more time to enjoy the food and water sports. The pool was salt water - non chlorinated. It’s an eco-friendly resort and takes you back in tune with nature. Don’t expect Wifi in rooms or any electronic gadgets, except for hair dryer. 😁👍🏼
Overall it was an amazing stay..
Thank you to all in Seraya especially Eddie and crew for making this an OUTSTANDING resort and keeping it real close to Mother Nature. Love it! ❤️🙏🏼
what’s not to like? 😁

We loved the food which had lot of various Indonesian specialties, we enjoyed drinking wine watching the sunset, and the daily trips we took with the hotel staff: Komodo dragons, snorkelling with the manta rays and turtles, visiting the neighbouring island including the fisherman village.

This place is absolutely spectacular! beautiful bungalows with all the comforts, a nice bar/restaurant that serves very good food and cocktails.
The reef around the pier is fantastic.
however what makes this resort very special is the kindness of the entire staff, something very rare and special!
food portions served at the restaurant are quite small

The sea here is wonderful. The hotel jetty crosses over coral outcrops and fishing is banned, as a consequence, the crystal-clear water is full of life and we spent much of our time floating about in snorkel and mask, excitedly pointing out bright or strangely shaped fish to each other. On the boat back to Labuan Bajo three dolphins crossed the bows - a sort of farewell salute. We were sad to leave.

Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms set on a beautiful island amongst charming fruit, flower and vegetable gardens and palm trees. Serenely quiet beach with a stunning reef just a few metres from the shore, snorkelling gear provided and incredibly warm, friendly staff who.will.happily organise day trips. Great meals served in a beautifully designed bamboo-contructed restaurant and tropical cocktails. Oh, and a frangipani fringed salt water pool....
The only drawback was that we couldn't stay longer. Next time we'll bring some board games to gift future travellers with teenagers...but ours quite enjoyed lying around and almost never being made to do anything in particular...

secluded. friendly staff. not over-crowded. great place to chill out but also access plenty of activities.
tour options a little limited once on the island.

The reef is very nice. Snorkeling, canoeing is great there.
Staff is very passive. Could be so much better if they are more attentive. They are very friendly though, but it seems there is nobody taking charge of developing the staff. Food was below par. We found a fried insect in the spaghetti and a stone in a fried tofu nugget. Also the taste is not very good

Absolutely beautiful resort, would not hesitate to stay again. Joy and the team were so hospitable, always a smiling face and could not do enough for you. Offered a western and Indonesian menu - we were there for 3 nights so sampled both, would definitely recommend the Indonesian dishes - delicious!! Were met at the airport and instantly taken down to the dock where there was a boat waiting for us. Kayaking, snorkelling and paddle boarding all included too.
Not so much the hotel - but I'd recommend when customers go out on the kayak to pirate island that a team member keep a look out for them with some binoculars. We got into a bit of trouble coming back due to the current and when we arrived back there was no-one around, we thought if the worst had happened no-one would have been wise to it!

Beautiful paradise location. Amazing snorkelling on your doorstep. Staff wonderful
Be cautious eating the fish specials at the property, my partner got ill for a week after having it.

This place is stunning and the best place ro deconnect from everything. The beach/water/house reef are marvellous with so much beautiful fish and coral to find. Facilities for snrokling and kayaking freely available. The staff very helpfull, always with a smile. The juices dekicious. Our room on the hill was perfect. We stayed for three nights and regretted not staying at little longer.
- The music in the restaurant, especially in the evening sometimes didn't fit the surroundings, but that's a matter of taste. (1 evening calm jazz which is fine, but the other evenings more upbeat music)
- staff could be a bit more forthcoming regarding expectation management. Quite a few things from the menu were not available which only becomes clear when you order them. I would prefer being told in advance
- the food in the restaurant is simple

It's a small paradise, no better way to describe it. Highly recommend the beach front rooms! The team is amazing, you constantly feel how they try to make everything perfect for their guests! We will dafinatly come back again!

Very beautiful resort on a remote island. The accommodation and layout of the resort is fantastic. However, the highlight for us was the reef in front of the beach. Even while diving I haven't seen as much underwater life as we did while snorkeling here - from reef fish to sea horses, murrays to even turtles and baby reef sharks (30cm or so)!
Even though the service was excellent, we felt it was lacking a bit of a personal touch, something we really enjoyed in other accommodations before. Also the restaurant was ok, but nothing special. Maybe inform guests more about snorkelling at the reef, as it is very shallow at low tide and parts of the corals were already broken - it would be a shame if it was destroyed.

I loved everything. The place is a paradise. The bedrooms are beautiful. The restaurant is great. The staff is amazing, all of them, top. They borrow you water activities material like snorkel, paddle surf, kayak and the hotel is sorrounded by beautiful coral so you can spend your day doing cool activities. You can cross with kayak to another Island full of baby sharks. They pick you up by car and boat. They also offer paid activities like visiting other islands, caves etc. Last day we saw a whale while having breakfast!
I should have stayed more time. I recommend at least 3 nights there. It's totally worth it.
The only thing they could change is adding darker blinders in the bedrooms.

The island and it's surroundings! Privacy, staff and overall service was excellent.

The staff was so kind and responsive to our needs. The bay is just gorgeous w wonderful snorkeling and marine life all around. Loved the peaceful island, the pace and access to Komodo park. Thanks to the staff for arranging a boat for us for the day!
It would be great if the owners could work to train a few locals from the nearby village on island, to do massage. The price is quite high and it seems a good opportunity to promote local employment on island, rather than boating someone in from Flores. Also great of local handicrafts can be sold in the shop at the hotel as well!

great food and drinks and lovely dining area. very friendly and accomodating staff. amazing location - world class snorkelling just off the jetty. rooms were luxurious and we loved the big open private bathroom. we had a fantastic time.
no internet! but if you're in the right mindset for this, it is actually a good thing - lots of reading and switching off from society - loved it!!

free paddle board and kayak to explore around, excellent food in the restaurant, bungalow comfortable with outdoor shower, swing in the sea, amazing sunsets from restaurant terrace, beach is clean and nice,
service in restaurant is slow (like most places in Indonesia). pool (salty) was a bit murky, cannot swim in sea at low tide due to coral and sea urchins
