Very pleasant and comfortable!

The location is perfect. Everything clean and in order. The department has all the comforts that a person needs. The communication with the owner was very fluid and pleasant. I highly recommend this place!

Prefer not to stay again

Location.

Located on the 4th floor. Quite narrow and steep steps. Very hard to carry luggage. Dust was present over the lower shelf of the coffee table and under the coffee table. Uncomfortable and squeaky bed. Dark place. Only one duvet. Half roll of toilet paper present, no substitute. No soap: A single time use liquid soap was present. A small soap bar could be placed. It is about attitude for example we stayed at a better located, cheaper, cleaner, more airy and enlighted place in Lyon afterwards. In Lyon there was a small soap bar and even shampoo and shower gel. Small but important details. We could not throw the waste by climbing up and down the stairs along with our luggage.

Mostly good

The Location was great on a pedestrianised street. It was bright and airy with good double glazing.There was always hot water.

Spiral staircase up to 4th floor but we did know this beforehand.The entrance lobby was very scruffy with two dead cockroaches. Some of the furniture legs were a bit wobbly and needed attention and the bathroom sink plug did not seal.There was only one desert spoon and we had to buy our own corkscrew which we did leave there.

Superb

The location is absolutely perfect, few minutes by walk to the Old Port. Apartment was nice, well equipped and overall everything was pretty good considering the price. Also instructions for check-in, check-out and getting settled were clear.

If you consider this is not hotel and the price is low then there´s nothing to complain about :-)

Passable

The only good point I gave to this accommodation is the central location. Very convenient to get to Vieux Port, restaurants, cafe and supermarkets are all within walking distance.

I have to say the photos of the apartment are deceiving and misleading. I had trouble finding the apartment at the first and was shocked to see the poor conditions of the entire building, messy and dirty entrance, staircase and hallway, stinking of bad smell (see the images). It's located on 4th floor without lift. I arrived earlier than my partner and traveled with a big suitcase. I was so lucky to have someone so kind enough to help me to carry my luggage all the way to my flat. Otherwise I couldn't possibly manage myself. If I had known the apartment was in such kind of building, I definitely wouldn't have booked it! The interior of the apartment looks similar to the photos advertised. The mattress and pillars are uncomfortable. My neck and back felt sore when I woke up the next morning. The first night when I checked in, I found the hand wash in the bathroom diluted with water, couldn't even call it a proper hand wash, no soap either. No basic sanitary supply, especially considering the covid is still spreading. It was only supplied with one and half toilet rolls for two people. I texted the owner the next day for help. He responded quickly but without any genuine efforts to make our stay more comfortable. The response I've got is:" Sorry for your bad experience. The grocery store is just around the corner." Again I was shocked to see his reply. If he knew this was a bad experience, why he couldn't bother making small efforts to make the guests feel more comfortable??? I booked a lot of apartment accommodations on booking.com before. The owners usually arrange replacement of basic essentials such as new toiletries, toilet rolls and emptying the rubbish bin. I didn't expect this place to provide a 5 star hotel experience, but come on, basic toiletries! I wouldn't recommend anyone to book this apartment, especially if you travel with kids, the condition of the building wouldn't make you feel safe at all.

So expanvie for the quality of the building

Great location in the centre of city

Renovation of the stairs, no ascenseur, noisy neighbor even after midnight, the yellow chair look so dirty and the sofa need to be wached for god sake. P.S. He required deposit of 200euro which they didn't mention in booking.com before reservation.

Exceptional

Everything was good, there was a hair dryer, iron, all necessary equipment. Parking is just a couple of minutes walking distance and costs €32 per day

No elevator, but that is mentioned in a description.

This apartment isn’t for everyone.

The location was great and the manager was very responsive.

The public area in the building is pretty shabby. If you have bags the narrow stairs are very challenging and you’ll need to make two trips up the four flights of stairs. The building exterior door is self closing so if you have bags and you are using the fob you need to open the door and prop it open while you put the fob back in the lockbox. The street is very noisy and you hear people in the stairwell at night. The apartment is very clean and well appointed. We were expected to take out the garbage as we left. That’s a bit much. It just wasn’t a good fit for us.

The location is simply amazing. Also, the owner of the apartment is great and ready to help/advise. The apartment was very clean as well.

No elevator (ok for 99% of the trip - but might be challenging if you have 2-3 big suitcases when you arrive and leave the apartment)
