About this house rental
Situated in Yallingup, this attractive house for $191 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. ** NOT available to Leavers bookings or people aged under 21 years. Two-storey Orchid House is a family friendly property that’s ideal for a relaxing and laidback stay. With glorious Injidup Beach less than 2km away, summer days will be heavenly here. Sleeping eight, up to two families can really enjoy life’s slower pace. Children will be easily entertained by the trampoline, ping pong table and play equipment while adults relax on the upstairs alfresco area for BBQs and drinks, overlooking the children at play amongst the stands of sheoak, marri, banksia and jarrah trees. This home is cleverly designed to maximise treetop views from almost every angle of the upstairs open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Big windows and high ceilings give this whole zone a very bright and spacious feel. The layout of the home is split across three levels. The living area, alfresco deck, plus master bedroom and ensuite are on the top level; a shared bathroom and separate laundry are on the mid-level; and two remaining bedrooms are on the ground floor. Orchid House is also a wonderful bushland haven for discovering wildflowers in spring and for watching the visiting Baudin cockatoos, parrots and kangaroos that frequent this five-acre property throughout the year. Wildflowers found on this property include rattle orchids, swan river myrtles, kangaroo paws, enamel orchids, blue lady orchids and donkey orchids but you have to time your visit to see them. The best months are September and October. Reverse cycle air-conditioning during summer plus two electric column heaters and a cosy wood fire in winter make this home an ideal getaway in comfort at any time of the year. Pet owners, please note that the property is unfenced and strict conditions apply if you are staying with your pet. The linen pack does not include beach towels. A mandatory cleaning charge applies to each booking. This is a licensed holiday home with the City of Busselton and the following applies by local law: no more than two cars are allowed at this property. No more than eight people allowed on the premises after 10pm. Guests must adhere to the Guest Code of Conduct (displayed inside the home). Coastal midges and mosquitos are a part of life in the South-West, especially at dusk. They are very attracted to inside lights at night. We recommend that you keep doors and windows without screens closed to avoid insects entering the house. The best health advice is to wear long, loose clothing when outdoors and use insect repellant.

Relax with friends
Such a lovely property in such a beautiful setting. We were all very comfortable and had a great time. Unfortunately the oven didn’t work properly which was a little inconvenient and disappointing. The house is perfectly located with so many wineries, galleries and activities a short drive away. I would recommend anyone to visit this property summer or winter.

Gorgeous house & location
Loved the house and location. Our daughter and dogs all had a blast! The kitchen was really well equipped and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. The table tennis was fun, we are now addicted and looking to get our own.
The lack of wifi was actually quite nice and meant we all enjoyed reading books and playing games. Overall we had a very relaxing time and came home feeling rested. Thank you 😊

Great holiday house
We had a great time at Orchid House. The house itself was well maintained, and the kids absolutely loved the trampoline and table tennis - in fact we all enjoyed playing ping pong. Would definitely stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Fantastic property
Our stay at Orchid House was fantastic. The photos actually don't do the property justice, it was better than expected. The house was comfortable and clean, and the surrounding bushland is especially beautiful. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet. My husband was disappointed by the lack of WIFI, but I welcomed the chance to disconnect. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did our dogs.

Great family retreat!
Amazing property for relaxing family time. It was so good to be able to have our dog with us, too. Beautiful view of the treetops - we woke up to the singing birds every morning.
The kitchen is well equiped and we had not trouble cooking a full Christmas dinner. It's about 20 minutes drive from Meelup Beach and even closer to Yallingup Beach.
The house is clean, the beds are comfortable with great linens and pillows. Bathrooms are simple but effective with good shower pressure ( but the two showers can't be used at the same time as the hot water doesn't seem to work for both at the same time).
It really is a home away from home and I would go again in a heartbeat.
