Location was great, right next to the metro stop which was very convenient for transportation to city sites. Comfortable mattress.
The room was described as having air cond for our rate but when we checked in the reception told us they only had rooms without a/c. We requested they provide a room as described for our rate and after discussing with management they provided a room that was supposed to have a/c. Upon arriving to the room, it was warm and we could not turn the a/c on or control from the room. We visited the front desk to advise the a/c was not working and the manager advised they controlled the a/c on/off along with the temp. She advised by Swiss law they cannot go cooler than 19 Celsius so we asked that they set it to 19. Even at that temp, our room never really got cool and we woke up at night perspiring. The beds only had down comforters to cover up with and did not have just a sheet for cover which would have been nice since the weather was warm. We couldn't leave a window or door open for air due to the traffic noise below. The pillows had a latex covering underneath the pillowcase which didn't breathe and made us hot for sleeping. The overall size of the room and bathroom was very small and cramped for two persons and luggage. We felt like we were constantly bumping into one another. The room amenities were very well used and need updated, such as tv, desk furniture missing hardware and the bathroom needs a new hairdryer and new towels. The towels were well worn, the current hairdryer in the bathroom looked very used and scuffed up so much the brand name was worn off. White trim paint on bathroom door trim was chipped and missing. The Samsung tv was old and remote buttons very well worn, couldn't read some of the buttons on the remote or some buttons didn't work along with some tv features did not work.

It was wonderful especially since we got a room upgrade because we told them we just got married. They left us a nice note in the room and some delicious muffins. 🥰
My husband said the bed wasn't comfortable but for me, it was ok.
Breakfast cost 30 chf per person but it wasn't worth the money.

The constructions and they didn't mention it before booking just after it would be nicer to know it in front...
The other guest were frustrated too and if you would have know the pruce is lower because of construction and also signs in the hotel for that that would have helped that not everybody had to tell it to the Staff. Because they can nothing for it.
