Nice Staff, good breakfast and location, uncomplicated room arrangements, silent room, kinda charming
Carpet floor, carpet was not spotless, missing coffee machine and tea in the room, old and loud ventilation but a vent is needed as the room gets pretty hot

I chose Tulip Inn as I was attending a company do at the Palais de Beaulieu, hence a brilliant location just a few minutes walk away. Staff very efficient. Nice breakfast. Quiet. Clean room and bathroom.
I would have liked some more warmth - the welcome was always a bit mechanical. Also, the staff needs to know about local eateries and transport (I was sent to totally the wrong bus). Pillows awful.

Perfect quiet location near frequent and regular buses into town. Calm and discrete atmosphere in hotel. Friendly, helpful and competent staff. They were also very good at keeping in contact and giving us advice about how to enter the hotel after hours after our flight was delayed.

One of the few afforadble hotels in the city of lausanne, this property was split into two differnet, but linked building, with a slightly confusing layout. The decor was surley very fashionable, once, but this seems to be quite a few years in the past. Nevertheless, the Rooms vere nice, with a decent sized bathroom. It had most of the ameneties one comes to expect in a Swiss Hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, however, the quality of the products on offer was a little on the "value" side of things.
The ageing decor and the fact that some items at the breakfast were a little on the value side of things, however, taking into account the overall price of the stay, it has to be said that one is not allowed to complain, as this hotel is for sure very good value for your money.
