Since the reception is not 24hrs, we were given a key to the front door. We found this to be really handy and could come and go as we pleased.
Our room was nice, and did the job we were after. Since we were planning to be out exploring most of the day, we weren't too fussed as long as we had somewhere comfy to sleep, but our room was nice. It had all of amenities that one could expect.
We did have to go up stairs to get to our room, which was absolutely fine for us, but something to consider if you're not good with stairs.
We also liked the location, as it was really easy to get to the busier areas of Venice, but it didn't feel like we were overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of the main streets.
We would definitely consider rebooking here if we were to return.
Our room was one that had windows that opened to the street, so it could be a bit loud when people walked past. Although it really wasn't much of an issue.
There were quite a lot of mosquitos, so something the be aware of, but this is more of a part of the location rather than anything the hotel could control. Our room had air conditioning, so we would keep our windows closed and turn that on if we were hot. This greatly reduced how many mosquitoes were in with us.

The location was nice, even though it was a 10min walk from the one mentioned on their page
We didn’t have air conditioning for 2 days, while it was 35 degrees outside and it was almost not breathable during the night because we couldn’t even open the windows because mosquitoes were coming in. Also the shower head did not stay properly on the tube and it was falling off every time we tried to turn on the water. We were basically forced to take a shower with a hose, without the shower head. On top of everything all of the doors - our room door, the shared bathroom door and our neighbours door were squeaking so much that we heard them every single time when they were going out of their room and woke us up.
