I liked everything. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. They were very kind to international travelers from all over the world.
Pool is slightly cold, but gorgeous! Completely worth the cold plunge.

The front desk staff were kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed the sauna and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Great location, steps away from the kaiser villa.
My friend and I don’t speak German and that definitely made it a more terse, awkward stay. Our bad. We’ve travelled in other parts of the Austrian alps and met friendly people willing to speak French or English but others staying in the hotel and the breakfast staff/ some of the wait staff were not that friendly or didn’t greet us as they greeted German speakers. One of the women who worked at the restaurant was more friendly, as well as the front desk. Just something to think about if your German is not great, but still enjoyed our stay overall, might have just stayed a night or two less.
