Great value for money.
Air con was good.
Bed and pillows comfy.
Given early check in, which we really appreciated after our travelling.
Receptionist offered to carry our luggage to our room - we stayed in 5 hotels and this was the only one to kindly offer.
We didn't personally use it, but the tablet in reception to book a taxi was a great touch.
Room was a good size and light and airy.
Reception area was very cool and felt authentic.
All in all, the hotel knows what it is and doesn't try to pretend to be anything more.
No coffee/tea making facilities.
Bathroom basic and warm inside.
Would have liked bigger towels.
Could hear lots of general living noises (banging, talking) during the morning.

The staff were very welcoming and explained everything clearly. The room was spotless, air conditioned and tastefully decorated in keeping with the old building. The bed was very comfortable . There was an excellent choice for breakfast all freshly made. I would certainly recommend.
