Penang Mural Street is nearby, and Citywalk is a great place to enjoy.
There's a mosque next door, and it broadcasts extremely loud announcements every morning at five or six o'clock.

-Close proximity to the mosque next door meant we were woken up by the call to prayer in the early hours every day during our stay- would be good to have this as a precaution before guests book with this hotel

The staff were very friendly and it was in a great location.
The worst part was the noise. The hotel is next to a mosque which has a call to prayer late and very early. I do not think this is an issue as to travel is to see someone else's culture, but it would have been ideal to know this and prepare. Worse was the hotel is inside of a restaurant which does not close until near to midnight. Single pane windows meant all sound came in. The room was also very small and outdated.
