I love the peaceful atmosphere. The exceptional view. The food made with so much love from Suranti. The gentleness of Aruna and the beauty of every detail from the welcoming to the check out. There are not better hosts than Aruna and Suranti. There are not better place to call “home” when you are abroad than Villa Arunalu. Thank you for making my staying a memorable days.

We loved the hillside location outside of Kandy. It wasn’t entirely quiet, but certainly quieter, and less busy than downtown Kandy.
We also loved the hospitality and the food that was served! They make a fabulous breakfast and they are flexible for dinner requests made with 3 hours notice. You do not have to hunt for restaurants when you stay here.
The owners. They are so kind and friendly and helpful. Even after two nights, it was a little hard to leave.
The outdoor shower :)
Nothing, really. The Wi-Fi could be faster but I have tried much worse.
