About this house rental

Situated in Astor, this attractive house for $160 per night is a great option for your next trip. A 1600 sq. ft., manufactured home. Very clean. We will allow 1 boat and trailer, 3 vehicles and 6 people. There will be an additional charge for extra boats cars, trailers and people. Fully furnished including washer and dryer. Office with bunk beds. Property includes a covered boathouse and is located 300 ft. from the St. John's River on a wide canal. The river offers many activities including fishing and boating. Nice boat ride to Silver Glens, Salt Springs, DeLeon Springs, Blue Springs. Canoeing or kayaking can be done on the river or at many of the state parks mentioned above. Besides fishing in the canal or on the river there is great fishing in Lake George, Lake Dexter and Lake Woodruff. You can see lots of wildlife, too, such as turtles, alligators, manatee, bald eagles, osprey, pelicans and turkeys to name a few. Many restaurants are available by water or land. Ocala National Forest also offers many outdoor activities. There are hiking trails, OHV trails, horse trails, hunting and/or bird watching. It is also a 45 minute ride to the beach or 1-1 1/2 hour drive to many of the attractions such as Cape Canaveral, Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and St. Augustine. Plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. Has boat launch and lift. Pontoon boat tours and airboat tours are available.

The property was very clean. We felt comfortable and safe with the surroundings. The property was exactly as listed. We were in the area for the Reutimann Memorial Race at the Volusia Raceway. This was a perfect location. Enjoyed the locally owned restaurants.

We had such a great time in this cute house, we were able to keep our boat in the boat house so we had immediate access to the river. The house had everything we needed, the owner even came over to greet us and say welcome. I would recommend this place whole heartedly and will be staying here again.

This place was fantastic. The fact that it had its own boat ramp was totally worth it. And once we were in the water we were closer to the lake then we thought!!!! My kids were definitely happy that they didn’t have to share a bed & having 2 full bathrooms was a bonus!

The property was great i asked for one towel and you thought i acsked for the keys to her car she was very ruud then her husband came over and was taking pictures of the place when i talked to him he was a smart a-- very rudd i will never stay in anything that he owns i have been going down there for 25 yrs he needs to learn how to treat guest

As soon as we stepped in the house we said it felt like home. The boat hoist was perfect for my fishing boat and I used it just about every day. Tom and Gail were available for anything we needed and even shared a few rides on their beautiful pontoon boat.

I would definitely stay here again the owner was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was very laidback. We caught fish off the dock in the backyard and watched turkeys feed in the area almost everyday. If your looking for a nice relaxing quiet place to get away this is it.

More secluded area with plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 kids ages 13, 7, and an infant. Owner called a week before and offered us a boat ride which was nice, but we were still in Indiana at the time sadly. It sure beat all in one big hotel room as we could spread out! Sad we didn't catch any fish in the canal though we tried.
