I liked the location best of all. The hotel is located right in the Center of the old city. It was a 10 minute walk from our bus station to the hotel and a 15 to 20 minute walk to our ferry. Our room was in an older building on the second floor. It was quite comfortable; certainly there was nothing modern or luxurious about it. I enjoyed its character. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the evening, and left first thing in the morning. Makalis was very accommodating in waiting for us to arrive after 9 P.M. to let us in the room. Right next-door was a great restaurant Zana. We walked around the city and enjoyed the action packed touristic Center.
I would enjoy coming back and spending more time there.
Be aware that a late check and could be a problem as the hotel reception normally closes at nine. Fortunately, we were able to contact Mikalis and arrange for our for our late arrival.

We stayed for a week and this is the place we'll stay again next time. Michalis was an exceptional host. Always friendly, gave great advice, and even did our laundry (folded it too!). If he stayed where we lived, he's the type of person you would always invite to your home.
The location was excellent. No noise, spacious room with 2 beds & 1 1/2 baths. The decor was unique as it was originally a bath house. Next time we hope to stay in the dome room.
As with any place in the old town, Wifi and water pressure can be less than desirable. Consider a local cafe if you need slightly better speeds.
