Very friendly and helpful host, Jenny. She couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was cosy and the breakfast was also excellent.

The host recommended a pub for dinner within walking distance of the room which was good and it was nice not to have to drive into the city for food.
The room was very hot, due to exceptionally hot weather but the host did their best to try to cool it down.

We do not eat cooked breakfasts but we were supplied with a choice of fruit juices, fruit, yogurts, cereals, toast and croissants along with tea and coffee. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a view of a beautiful garden and open countryside. The location was ideal for us as we didn't need to go in to Northallerton itself and was easy to get to from the direction we were coming from and going to.
We found the shower room rather cramped but this is obviously something which can't be changed.

Good location for central Northallerton. Good breakfast.
The warm weather prevented a good nights sleep. No fault of the host though!
