Location, beautiful building, very nice rooms
Staff was not helpful… we were two elderly ladies ( 78, 87) and varios situations occurred that the staff could have helped us and did not.
1- not advise that parking lot’s elevators closed at 7:30 pm so we found out upon returning at 8:00 pm. This required climbing a steep hill and various steep steps to reach hotel.
2- shower doors in both our rooms sealed so tightly that we spent 30 and 45 minutes attempting to out of the shower
3- front desk extension number was never provided (not on phone directory nor any place in room) and when we needed assistance we had to go down to reception.
Prior to check we wrote the hotel about the situations and did not receive the courtesy of a reply.

Perfect location as you can reach it directly from the bus before starting to go up the city stairs. Friendly staff. They upgraded my room without even asking for it which was awesome. The place is historic and you can see that from the frescos on the ceiling. It felt great staying in such a room. Great water pressure. Well equipped room, in general, and good breakfast.
The staff seem to be struggling to speak English. They should consider removing that bulky wood sphere from the keychain, as it was impossible to keep in the pocket and I found that inconvenient. I found the bed not very comfortable.
