About this bed and breakfast

Nestled in Corozal District, this charming bed and breakfast for $697 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Enjoy Paradise with Peace of Mind! You can book your stay with confidence as Playa Del Sol has been certified as a Tourism Gold Standard Hotel by the Belize Tourism Board. This certification is given to properties which meet the country’s health and safety standards for both employees and travelers. Perfect for family reunions! The entire resort will be yours! Playa Del Sol Resort offers complimentary snorkeling and a half day fishing tour to each guest group. During your stay we will make sure that you will snorkel at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and catch some fish by the reef. (Please see below for more info) Playa Del Sol impresses from the moment you dock at the pier and enter the lush, landscaped grounds, but its biggest draw is that it is only 800 yards from the reef. The unique architecture, blending tropical charm, Mediterranean sophistication and Belizean craftsmanship, is designed to merge indoor and outdoor living into one seamless experience. Inside, the guest house is bright and airy, with high ceilings, large windows and an open-plan living and dining area. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and are air-conditioned. A state-of-the-art kitchen makes cooking a pleasure with high-end appliances. In our boutique resort, we offer a relaxing vacation and full of tranquility. Start the day by watching an amazing sunrise on the pier then jump into the crystal water. Use our kayaks to paddle to the reef. Enjoy the pool after a long day. Our jungle is home to iguanas, hummingbirds and ospreys. Hang out in our tiki bar for exotic drinks and local soul food or take a nap on our very private pier. You will be surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees. During the day you will see exotic birds hunting on the flat water. You can fish snappers, tarpons and barracudas from the pier afternoon time. When you want to explore the rest of Belize, our staff will help you find the most suitable tours to the Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip-lining, zoo, the Blue Hole and diving. All complimentary; You first night dinner, Snorkeling at world famous site " Hol Chan Marine Reserve" with our private boat and tour guide*, Half day reef fishing, Wi-fi, kayaks, welcome drinks, coconut water, Cornholes, Horseshoes, library, board games, Netflix, and darts are also available. You will have 3 condos in 2 buildings so 2 x two bedroom and 1 x one bedroom villas. The one bedroom is up to 4 people with sofa bed in downstairs and each two bedroom unit is up to 6 people with sofa bed in downstairs. (in total 16 people) All our beds including sofa beds are queen size. -These free trips are available one time only and can be arranged upon arrival. -All boat transportation is ‘weather permitting’ -No Substitutions * You need to pay $10 US/each person marine park fee (11 years and older)

The three families (including 4 kids ages 3-12) in our group had a wonderful time at Playa del Sol! We enjoyed the quiet location and clean, comfortable accomodations! Iz and the PDS family took great care of us, including snorkeling and fishing trips, and delicious food and drink! We hope to return!

The property was pretty much as shown, other than the unfortunate sargassum on the beach. However, this is ALL of the Caribbean issue and the staff males up for it. They truly make you feel at home - and the food!!! We originally planned to make our own, but after the first two meals, we just ate at the bar! Location also made it so that I did not have to worry about students participating and getting in trouble (or lost) in another country. It was also a good location to use to teach some ecology and global impact studies. Overall, I plan to use the location again if I can.

Other than being a little further out of town than I thought this place was perfect. IZ the host was amazing and was there to help me in anyway that we needed. I had my mom and dad with me and my four kids. Everyone felt safe and everything was perfect. I highly recommend this property. You won’t regret it.
