Bed was extremely comfortable and amenities were top notch
Really friendly welcome when we arrived
The chairs in the Labrador room are tired and the shaggy throws look dirty and not in keeping with the rest of the room.
I wasn’t enamoured by breakfast at all.. not a very friendly front of house lady, made me feel a little unwelcome as was first in for breakfast.
Had poached egged and avocado on “toast” not toasted at all, dry avocado and runny whites.. the restaurant applauds itself for its breakfast and this let them down.

The rooms are traditionally done but far too dark. Bed very firm and pillows super soft. Had a tick in bathroom shower. Dogs barking at 7am woke us up and kids in breakfast were feral 😬 was a shame as not staffs fault…. When we arrived it looked amazing and grounds are exceptional, sad it didn’t live up to expectations.
